Budget Beauty Buys :: 10 Summer Beauty Items Under $10
Happy Friday everyone! Today I thought I’d share with you 10 inexpensive summer beauty favorites of mine. These items are easily found online or in your nearest drugstore and they are all $10 or less! Be sure to let me know your favorite summer budget beauty items.
1) L’Oréal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara – $8.95
As I’ve mentioned before, I love mascaras equipped with comb out wand that can evenly coat each lash while separating and lengthening my short, curly lashes. The plastic combed bristles of this brush are great for just that. I find it to be both a great formula and even better wand quickly making this one of my go to mascaras for all occasions.
2) Yes to Tomatoes Activated Charcoal Bar Soap – $7
This is a great product for removing the impurities that can clog your pores during the hot and humid summer months. The activated charcoal and salicylic acid in this soap helps detoxify and balance the skin leaving it thoroughly clean.
3) Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil – $8.59
This is one of my must have products during the summer months. I find myself painting and changing my nail polish colors much more often in the summer months. I’m mindful of the drying effects of nail polish removers and provide my cuticles with some tlc everyday with this cuticle oil. ‘Rock the boat’ is a perfect shade to add to my growing Essie collection for the summer.
4) L’Oréal Infallible Eye Shadow – $7.99
I love the price of these eye shadows. Not only are there a great variety of colors to choose from but they are also beautifully pigmented and last throughout the day.
5) Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm – $3-$5
Lip moisturizers are a staple beauty item throughout the year and since I tend to wear a wide variety of brightly colored lip products during the summer, keeping my lips smooth and moisturized is especially important for photo ready results.
6) Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask – $6.99
This is a favorite of mine all year round but I especially love using it during the summer months when needing to protect my hair from the sun, chlorinated pools and dips in the ocean. This product will leave your hair feeling soft, smooth and tangle free.
7) Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes – $6
These cleansing towelettes are great to have around for several reasons. They can be used to break down makeup before cleansing and to keep your skin fresh and clean on no-makeup days. I also love to use them to spot clean my brushes when I simply don’t have the time to thoroughly cleanse and dry them.
8) Burt’s Bees Natural Acne Solutions Targeted Spot Treatment – $10
If you skin is anything like mine, the change in weather often brings a change in your skin. I tend to experience spots and breakouts during the summer and this product certainly comes in handy.
9) Yes to Tomatoes Activated Charcoal Bar Soap – $7
This is a great product for removing the impurities that can clog your pores during the hot and humid summer months. The activated charcoal and salicylic acid in this soap helps detoxify and balance the skin leaving it thoroughly clean.
9) OPI RapiDry Top Coat – $1.99-$10
For a truly quick drying top coat that won’t chip after a few days, I recommend topping off your at-home manis and pedis with OPIs RapiDry. This quickly dries to a matte finish that will leave your nails impressive for days. I’ve found it on Amazon for $1.99 and at Nordstrom Rack for $10.
10) Revlon Colorburst – $6.89
It’s clear I love these lip products as I’ve mentioned them quite a few times on the blog (here and here). From matte balms to stains and lacquers, these chubby sticks are easy to use and provide a good amount of color making them great summer beauty items.
