Happy Monday everyone! Since my birthday this coming Tuesday will mark my “golden birthday” (when your age and birth day coincide, 28 on the 28th), I had a small celebration with a few girlfriends in my hometown.  It seems my golden birthday was serendipitous as it falls on the day of the week on which I was born and which determined my name.  As with the title of my blog, I was born on a Tuesday in April and this year, I will celebrate my golden birthday on April 28th, a Tuesday in April.  I can’t help but feel that this will be the best year yet!

So over the weekend, I celebrated an early birthday with a few girlfriends.  Delicious artisanal pizzas, cocktails, beautiful flowers topped off with a lovely cannoli plate.

I enjoyed a quick and impromptu shopping excursion to Trader Joe’s thanks to a gift card I received.  I was in the store for less than 5 minutes and the gentleman at the check out counter was quick to realize my plans for the evening, simply asking “Spa night?”.
