When most people think of a leather jacket, the image conjured is that of the popular motorcycle inspired jacket.  Though I’m quite a fan of this style, I’ve come to love non-traditional takes on leather pieces such as this cropped leather jacket.  In the same vein, this beautiful cropped leather jacket by Burberry has gone the way of the unconventional.  The studded detail is reminiscent of warrior attire donned by samurai.  Perhaps the designers were inspired by strength of the samurai, marrying this with a classic cut, quilted and crop detail. The quality, attention to detail, design and price ($4,595) are of the highest grade.

Although this is a beautiful jacket that I’m sure would be a wardrobe staple for many years to come, the price tag on this one is just a tad above my pay grade (okay, okay it’s a bit more than a tad) and thus shall remain a luxe wardrobe wish list item, the ultimate in luxe attire.
