Happy Monday everyone! Though I began my weekend with a full “date card” so to speak, an unplanned opportunity was presented on Friday evening.  I quite enjoy the unexpected so when unforeseen opportunities arise I don’t hesitate to partake.  I was given the opportunity to see Whoopie Goldberg’s stand up act on Friday.  After a long and tiring week, it was nice to end my weekday and begin the weekend on a humorous note.  Since I only found out about the show about an hour before needing to leave (it was quite a drive away), I grabbed a quick dinner and threw on a simple outfit.

The outfit I threw together before attending the comedy show.  The top, jacket and booties are all from Madewell (it’s clear that I’m obsessed after reading this) with Loft jeans and Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color in Mulberry.

Since I’d unfortunately gotten away from drinking lemon water throughout my day, particularly in the mornings, I decided to reintroduce this habit into my morning routine.  With such a busy weekend, it was great to begin my days with an energizing sip of lemon water, pulp and all.
