One of my biggest concerns when applying my makeup for a long day out is keeping the finished look intact and beautiful without fading throughout the day. Of course, the beauty industry has thought of this very issue with primers, products meant to finesse your makeup and help with its staying power.  Products such as Benefit’s The POREfessional and the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base are highly rated in this and created just for this purpose but I’ve found one more use for this beloved NARS primer.

To keep the concealer underneath my eyes from budging, I’ve found that dabbing a small amount of the NARS primer before applying my concealer does wonders in keeping the product in place all day.  This is an especially helpful tip during the warmer months and for those prone to perspiring .
