I stumbled upon this Adam Lippes Black Cropped Leather Jacket (sold out, similar found here) while brainstorming ideas for today’s post.  To be honest, my initial attraction to this coat was due to my inability to decide how I felt about it.  It’s not something I would typically be drawn to but after further consideration, I was flooded with the various ensembles that I could build with this leather jacket.  It would pair beautifully with a sheath dress to liven up the typical professional ensemble, elevate the basic jeans and t-shirt to make it street style worthy or add a chic edge to a peplum skirt and white button down shirt.
